20'-40'-45' Triaxle Gooseneck Container Chassis

By use of telescopic action, this unique extendable trailer chassis can grow from 30’ 6” to 45’ 6” in order to accommodate a 20’, 40’ or 45’ shipping container with a GVWR of 60,000, 75,000, and 75,000 lbs. respectively.  The versatility and stability of this tri-axle chassis is what makes it such a great addition to any fleet looking to carry a variety of containers.

Carries one 20 ft (50,000 lb max) or one 40 ft or one 45 ISO Container applicable to operation in the United States.

Main Beams:

All cross members are formed from 10-gauge steel
Upper Coupler Assembly:
Pick up plate is 5/16 in. thick and extends approximately 18 in. behind the kingpin and is reinforced fore and aft by 1/4 in. formed channels
Front Bolster:
1/4 in. thick channel 9 in. high x 6 in. deep with 10 gauge stiffeners
Rear Bolster:
Box type with 3/8 in. x 8 in. top plate and 1/4 in. thick formed channel lower member with ICC light holes. A small license plate bracket will be mounted on the under side.
Intermediate Bolsters:
3/8 in. x 2 in. x 8 in. channel, 1/4 in. webbing with 1/2 in. end plates and retractable twist locks
ICC Bumper:
4 in. x 4 in. x 3/16 in. Tube step bumper. Main beam and bumper struts are extended 2 in. to protect rear bolster. (No rubber dock bumpers)

Slider Mechanism:
By telescopic action behind the landing gear, the chassis can be extended by approximately (15) feet. Security for the frame adjustment is accomplished through two air actuated locking pins that ensure positive engagement with the main frame.
