Cheetah Chassis Corp located in Berwick is currently accepting applications for qualified FABRICATORS capable and eager to work safely in our fast-paced manufacturing operation.
Pay:
Cheetah has some of the best pay rates in the area! We provide our Fabricators a starting rate of $18.50 - $20.25/hr. depending on previous experience and skill.
Job Summary:
- Sets up and operate various fabrication equipment such as CNC lathes, plasma, brake press and shears according to instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Follows all established safety policies and procedures
- Uses hand tools, hoists, squares, rules, micrometers to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines.
- Uses blueprints, work orders, and other dimensional specifications to ensure the proper setup and operation are followed.
- Places and secures work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface.
- Prepares fixtures and feeding devices, starts machine, and engages feed.
- Observes each machine to verify quality performance.
- Verifies measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are in proper working order.
- Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines.
- Perform 6S duties as assigned
- Performs other related duties as requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None. The position reports to the Materials Team Lead
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic math, language, and reading skills.
- Ability to handle fabrication equipment safely and sensibly.
- Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position.
- Hours of work for day shift are Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Hours of work for night shift are Sunday Night through Thursday Morning 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM.
- Hours of work for weekend shift are Friday through Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Work 36 hours get paid 40 hours.
- Overtime may be required.
