Cheetah Chassis Corp located in Berwick is currently accepting applications for qualified FABRICATORS capable and eager to work safely in our fast-paced manufacturing operation. 

Pay:

Cheetah has some of the best pay rates in the area!  We provide our Fabricators a starting rate of $19.00 - $20.75/hr. depending on previous experience and skill.

Job Summary:

  • Sets up and operate various fabrication equipment such as CNC lathes, plasma, brake press and shears according to instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures.

  • Follow all established safety policies and procedures

  • Uses hand tools, hoists, squares, rules, micrometers to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines.

  • Uses blueprints, work orders, and other dimensional specifications to ensure the proper setup and operation are followed.

  • Places and secures workpieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface.

  • Prepares fixtures and feeding devices, starts machine, and engages feed.

  • Observes each machine to verify quality performance.

  • Verifies measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are in proper working order.

  • Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None. The position reports to the Materials Team Lead

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic math, language, and reading skills.
  • Ability to handle fabrication equipment safely and sensibly.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Hours of work for day shift are Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. 
  • Overtime may be required.
