Cheetah Chassis Corp located in Berwick is currently accepting applications for qualified ASSEMBLERS capable and eager to work safely in our fast-paced manufacturing operation. 

Pay:

Cheetah has some of the best pay rates in the area! We provide our Assemblers a starting rate of $19.00/hr.

Summary/Objective:
The Assembler assembles products until they are completed to acceptance test procedures and routing operations by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
  2. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  3. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  4. Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required per P.M. charts.
  5. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  6. Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
  7. Operates press brake to assemble sheets.
  8. Operates automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls.
  9. Operates index machine. Performs body work on trailers.
  10. Performs carpenter-related work.
  11. Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes. Installs lights and wiring.
  12. Operates fork lift as required.
  13. Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
  14. Performs related duties as needed by supervision.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Hours of work for day shift are Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. 
  • Overtime may be required.
